Handcolored etching and engraving, framed; some stains in the sky, some smudges at bottom, a small tear on the right; somewhat cooked paper. In good condition.
A winter scene with a view on the East side of The Hague; figures iceskating, skating, sleighs drawn by horses and tents with food and drinks (Koek en Zopie), a wind-mill at right.
Titled in English and French below: 'A Perspective View on the East Side of the Hague with the Winter Deversions their &cObject: Vue de Hyver. de la Haye vers la Coupagnes due Cote de l'ouest.' with date and address of the publisher below: 'Published 12th. May 1794 by LAURIE & WHITTLE 53 Fleet Street, London.'
